Is it me or did that sepuence look and sound very similar to the sequence when the tripods rise from under the street in War Of The Worlds?
Sounded and looked just like it, espcially the quick pan on the street to the Head, almost exactly the same/
A "War Of The Worlds" angle is something that I hadn't even considered.
Who owns the rights to that?
I thought Steven Spielberg's film was fan-fucking-tastic, but the folks that Mr. Abram's is working with could very well be tackling this from a more realistic angle.
